What’s Inclusivity Got to Do with HPC at SC conferences?
DescriptionResearch, application and development in HPC fields are human endeavors. People with different skills, expertise, experiences and characteristics work together in creating new frameworks, discoveries, and implementations of and for computing. In this session, you will hear from prominent voices in the SC community as they share their views of, experience with and recommendations for Inclusivity in HPC. What if colleagues are prevented from working optimally due to arbitrary practices? Inclusivity is not a “them” thing, it's an everyone thing. What if the social working conditions supported optimal creativity and productivity from everyone? Can we achieve global fairness in the absence of inclusivity efforts or statistical data?
