Biography
Huanle Xu (Member, IEEE) received the BSc (Eng) degree from the Department of Information Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), in 2012, and the PhD degree from the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), in 2016. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Macau. His primary research interests include job scheduling and resource allocation in cloud computing, decentralized social networks, parallel graph algorithms, and machine learning. He is particularly interested in designing and implementing wonderful algorithms for large-scale systems and their applications using optimization tools and theories. Huanle is also a recipient of the 2021 ACM SoCC Best Paper award.
