Biography
Nathan Tallent is a Senior Computer Scientist and lead of the Scalable Computing and Data Team at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research spans the challenges of characterizing, modeling, analyzing, and accelerating the performance of current and emerging workloads in scientific workflows, data analytics, and domain modeling. He has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, serves on several reviewing committees, and is a recipient of a DOE Early Career award. He was an original developer of HPCToolkit, a widely used suite of performance tools. He received a Ph.D. in 2010 from Rice University and is a member of IEEE and ACM.
