Dr. Zhiguang Xu is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Valdosta State University (VSU), Valdosta, GA. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from University of Central Florida. Dr. Xu received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching at VSU in 2019. He served as a reviewer for ACM SIGCSE TS 2023 and 2024. His research focuses on AI, Heterogeneous and Parallel Computing, Computer Networking, and Computer Science Education.
