Currently a member of the advanced technologies group at NERSC, my background research centers on the intersection of quantum many body and astrophysics. In recent years I have been exploring how new technologies such as deep learning and quantum computing can aid in these directions. At NERSC I focus on HPC power analysis of all user applications including simulations, machine learning, density functional computation, and quantum lattice calculations. In addition, I also focus on quantum hardware technologies and algorithms, and their inclusion in HPC centers.
