Brajesh Gupt is a Quantum Applied Scientist at the Amazon Web Services (AWS). Before joining AWS he held Research Associate position at Texas Advanced Computing Center at the University of Texas at Austin and Theoretical Physicist position at Xanadu Quantum Technologies, Inc. Toronto. Brajesh received his PhD from Louisiana State University followed by a three-year postdoc fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park. His interests include NISQ algorithms, design and simulation of quantum circuit using HPCs, as well as benchmarking and application of various different types of quantum hardware. He has delivered over 35 research talks and organized and delivered 4 quantum computing workshops.
