Biography
Dr. Gal Oren is a visiting scientist and lecturer in the Computer Science department at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a senior researcher in the Scientific Computing Center at NRCN. He also leads the Israel Intel oneAPI Center of Excellence, spanning across Technion, Ben-Gurion, and Tel-Aviv Universities. In 2020, Dr. Oren completed his Ph.D. in Distributed Computing at Ben-Gurion University, and for the past decade, his research has been centered on various facets of Scientific Computing, with a particular focus on High-Performance, Super, Distributed, Parallel, and Cluster Computing, while exploring their intersections with AI.
