Dr. Mathias Pütz is the Director of HPC & SW Products at ParTec AG. Until Oct 2021, Dr. Pütz worked as senior HPC Solution Architect at HPE. Prior to that, he was leading the pre-sales engineering and benchmarking team in EMEA at Cray, and before that was a member of the HPC benchmarking and application tuning team at IBM. In his early academic career, he worked as a research scientist, focusing on modeling and simulating polymer melts and networks studying their dynamic and mechanical properties. Dr. Pütz holds a doctoral degree in theoretical physics from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany.
