Yongkee Kwon is a principal research staff at SK hynix where he currently leads Processing-in-Memory (PIM) project as an architect and team leader. His research interests span programming languages, compilers, runtime systems, architecture, and microarchitecture with a focus on memory-centric computing. He holds over 30 patents granted and has co-authored a dozen papers. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Seoul National University and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
