Dr James Richings is an Applications Consultant at EPCC, and a member of the Quantum Applications Group. James holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Southampton. He joined EPCC in June 2022 after spending two years as a DiRAC RSE in the Physics department at the University of Edinburgh supporting lattice quantum chromodynamics research and the deployment of the Tursa HPC system, and is now a core member of the ARCHER2 CSE team.
