Twenty years of experience teaching and leading in public and in private schools as well as at the university level. Currently, a training coordinator and instructional specialist at Carnegie Mellon's Supercomputing Center where she where she works across all teams in the the area of instructional design and oversees the internship program. Formally, served as a curriculum content specialist and content creator, and instructional designer for a math, ELA, and world language company. Mentored graduate and undergraduate students during their internships as well as assisting them to explore post program opportunities. Served on hiring committees. Specializes in providing professional development in the areas of differentiated instruction, reading across all content areas, and cultural competency.
