Biography
Dr. Carol Scarlett is an Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physicist and Faculty at Florida A&M University (FAMU). She has worked on topics as diverse as nuclear decay rates, searches for exotic, Dark Matter and, more recently, development of Quantum Random Number Generation on a chip-scaled device. She credits her wide research interest in part to her undergraduate background in Electrical Engineering and Masters work in nuclear physics. Dr. Scarlett is a former Fellow of the Chain Reaction Innovations (CRI) program at Argonne National Laboratory, where she focused on using her patented technique to design QRNG on-chip.
