Bill Anderson is the manager of the HPC Systems Group at NCAR and has over 30 years of experience in HPC in general, and over 20 years of experience with HPC storage, including parallel filesystems, object storage systems, tape systems, and cloud storage. He has a particular interest in storage performance and has published conference papers on storage performance and the use of machine learning to improve how storage systems are operated.
