Biography
Pete Bradley is a Principal Fellow in Digital Tools and Data Science at Raytheon Technologies Pratt & Whitney, where he coordinates technical leadership across diverse disciplines including HPC, AI/ML, data science, and Cloud. For over 30 years, he has driven advanced computing applications for aerospace design and manufacturing. A longtime pioneer in parallel computing, Mr. Bradley was a developer of Pratt & Whitney’s pioneering PROWESS grid computing system, which harnessed the combined power of thousands of desktop workstations at night to make complex Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations practical for real-world design. He also served on the MPI-2 forum and was principal investigator on a highly successful Department of Energy INCITE award advancing parallel combustion modeling. He currently serves on the Industry and Agency council of the Exascale Computing Project. Outside of his Digital activities, Mr. Bradley is an avid paddlesports racer and orchestra musician.
