I am currently working on high performance computing at the European Center for Particle Physics, CERN, where I work on developing and implementing algorithms that will help process the massive amounts of data that collider experiments produce. My particular focus is on applying GPGPUs to data challenges posed by future colliders and collider upgrades. I am also interested in the development of new programming models; the study of programming models allows us to combine high performance computing with the theory of programming languages in ways that I find very fascinating.
