Biography
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and am on the cusp of completing a Master's in Computer Science in December 2023. My journey into the world of STEM was fortified by an internship at the NIH Biomedical Informatics Section in the summer of 2022, where I delved into the intersections of data science and healthcare. Furthermore, my SIGHPC Fellowship and attendance at SC22 ignited a desire to explore the opportunities in cutting-edge High-Performance Computing research. This passion for meaningful innovation led me to an appointment with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Department of Energy in 2023, where I fully immersed myself in the realm of High-Performance Computing. Beyond the technical aspects, I witnessed the collective efforts of full-stack development within the Exascale Computing Project, highlighting the role of collaboration in scientific breakthroughs.

As an advocate for women in STEM and a single mother, my journey exemplifies the ability to overcome challenges and carve a path that bridges scientific prowess with unwavering commitment, while ensuring the best for my family and future. Looking forward, attending SC23 will be invaluable and has the potential to foster connections and collaborations with experts in the field that would propel my budding career to new heights.

I would plan my days filled with technical talks, workshops, and networking opportunities to absorb everything that is offered. In essence, my attendance at SC23 seamlessly aligns with my career aspirations and a transformative journey within the HPC ecosystem.
