Donatello Elia is a Junior Data Scientist at the "Advanced Scientific Computing" (ASC) division of the "Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change" (CMCC) Foundation, which he joined in 2013. He holds a PhD degree in Engineering of Complex Systems (2021) and a M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering (2013), both from the University of Salento in Italy. His main research interests include data science, big data, data-intensive workflows, scientific data management, high performance and cloud computing. He has authored and co-authored several papers in refereed journals and international conference proceedings and is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.
