Zekun Yin received the bachelor's and PhD degrees from Shandong University, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He is a PostDoc with Shandong University. His major research interests are high performance computing and its application in life science and geoscience. He is an expert in the design, implementation, and deployment of parallel algorithms, applications, and libraries on multi- and many-core HPC platforms. He won ACM Gordon Bell Prize in 2017 for the research work on Tangshan earthquake simulation on the Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer.
