Kenjiro Taura received BS, MS, and DSc degrees from the University of Tokyo in 1992, 1994, and 1997, respectively. He is currently a professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, The University of Tokyo. His major research interests include parallel/distributed computing and programming languages. His expertise includes efficient dynamic load balancing, parallel and distributed garbage collection, and parallel/distributed workflow systems.
