Philippe Segers is members of the Board of Directors of PRACE aisbl, Head of European High-Performance Computing (HPC) projects for GENCI, the French HPC agency, member of PRACE-IP projects Technical Board, Management Board and of PRACE RI Strategy Working Group. He represents PRACE and GENCI at the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Association aisbl. He is a former member of the Management Board of the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) PPI4HPC, work-package leader of PRACE Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) and work-package co-leader on Stakeholder Management and organization of the RI. He holds an Executive MBA and has an academic background in Numerical modelling of Theoretical Physics and more than 20 years of experience managing civilian or military R&I projects.
