Sagi Zisman is a Data Scientist in the Data Analysis and Visualization Group within the Computational Sciences Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) . His current research interests include machine learning, big data systems, and knowledge representation as applied to the renewable energy domain. He has received a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has since worked in various data science roles specializing in modeling in tech startups, mid-sized companies and is most recently back to doing science at NREL which he joined in 2019. Sagi is a big thinker and is particularly interested in the collective intelligence of communities to solve societal problems.
