Erwin Laure is director of the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility as well as Professor for High Performance Computing Environments at the Technical University Munich with over 20 years of experience in HPC and exascale computing. He has led and contributed to many national and international HPC projects, particularly several European HPC Centres of Excellence. He holds a PhD from the University of Vienna.
