Andrew J. Ochoa, PhD, is an expert in quantum and quantum inspired optimization. As VP of Customer Engagements at Strangeworks he helps subject matter experts explore problems with novel compute methods, with the goal of bringing practical benefits of quantum computing to organizations of all types. Andrew received a PhD in computational physics from Texas A&M University and an MBA. from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He has published notable research on novel physics-inspired algorithms and benchmarking of quantum annealing devices.
