Andreas Dilger
Biography
Andreas Dilger is the Principal Architect for the Lustre filesystem, widely used in HPC and machine learning environments, and has been involved in its development from its beginning in 1999. He is also a maintainer of the Linux ext4 filesystem, and an author of the PNG ISO/IEC standard and reference library. He has served on the program committee of a variety of HPC storage conferences and workshops. After graduating from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Calgary in 1991, Andreas worked at a number of smaller startup companies, as well as IBM, Sun Microsystems, Intel, and is Lustre CTO at Whamcloud/DDN since 2018.
