Biography
bdullah Al Raqibul Islam is a Ph.D. candidate in the DIR lab at UNC Charlotte, advised by Prof. Dong Dai. His research centers around the design of data storage applications and systems, leveraging the unique characteristics of underlying storage technologies. Abdullah's Ph.D. research is focused on creating a high-performance dynamic graph processing framework tailored for emerging storage technologies, such as non-volatile memory.

Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Abdullah held the position of Principal Software Engineer at TigerIT Bangladesh Ltd., where he led multiple engineering projects related to machine learning and data management. Abdullah earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
