Biography
Jungrae Kim (Senior Member, IEEE) received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. From 2003 to 2016, he was a senior engineer at Samsung Electronics, where he developed application processors. From 2016 to 2020, he was a senior software engineer at Microsoft corp., USA, architecting data center accelerators. He joined Sungkyunkwan University in 2020 as an assistant professor. His current research interests include heterogeneous architecture, memory sub-systems, and reliability.
