Edmond Chow is Professor and Associate Chair in the School of Computational Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Chow was a member of the computer science team at D. E. Shaw Research from 2005 to 2010. Previous to that, he was in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Minnesota in 1997.
