Biography
Eishi Arima is a project research associate in the Information Technology Center at The University of Tokyo.
He is also an external scientist at TU Munich and a visiting scientist at RIKEN.
He received Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Information Science and Technology, and Ph.D in Information Science and Technology from The University of Tokyo, in 2011, 2013, and 2016, respectively.
His broader research interests are principally in computer architecture, system software, and high performance computing, while the major focus is on hardware/software optimizations for emerging architectures, especially based on novel memory subsystems, in order to improve performance, energy efficiency, and any other perspectives. Further, he is also working on tools and power management techniques for the next-generation Japanese flagship supercomputer called ``Fugaku''.
