Exhibitor Description
Research projects ACROSS, DEEP-SEA, IO-SEA and RED-SEA are joining forces to share their findings with the HPC community. The modular supercomputing architecture (MSA) has emerged as a blueprint for future heterogenous HPC systems in Europe up to Exascale performance level (and beyond). The SEA-Projects (DEEP-SEA, IO-SEA and RED-SEA) develop and prototype complementary technologies for building highly efficient MSA supercomputer systems, including an integrated SW stack, an innovative I/O system and next-generation interconnect network plus the required system SW elements. The ACROSS project is co-designing and developing an HPC, BD, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) convergent platform, supporting applications in Aeronautics, Climate and Weather, and Energy. To this end, ACROSS leverages the pre-exascale infrastructures to help get ready for exascale systems, and effective mechanisms to easily describe and manage complex workflows. Energy efficiency is achieved by massive use of specialized hardware accelerators, monitoring running systems and applying smart mechanisms of scheduling jobs. These projects receive funding from the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreements 955606, 955811, 955776 and 955648.
