Sameer Shende serves as a Research Professor and the Director of the Performance Research Laboratory, OACISS, at the University of Oregon and the President and Director of ParaTools, Inc. and ParaTools, SAS (France). His research interest include performance evaluation tools, performance instrumentation, measurement, and analysis, compiler optimizations, programming models and runtime systems, scientific software stacks, and container technology for HPC and AI/ML.
