Biography
Ivy Peng is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and leads the ScaLab (Scalable Parallel System Laboratory) at KTH in downtown Stockholm. Before moving to Sweden, she was a Computer Scientist (Member of Technical Staff) at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and a post-doctoral fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in the USA. Her research areas revolve around large-scale parallel systems, including computer architecture, system software, and real-world applications. Her current research topics are heterogeneous computing, memory-centric computing, and disaggregated computing, with a particular focus on converged HPC and cloud.
