Richard Murphy is the founder and CEO of Gem State Informatics, an advanced memory and storage startup. He was previously director of Advanced Computing Solutions Pathfinding at Micron, staff at Sandia National Laboratories and SUN Microsystems, and founded the Graph500 benchmark and Chesapeake Large Scale Analytics Conference. His research interests include large-scale data analytics and supercomputing technologies.
