Tom is serving his 3rd year as a rotator in OAC. He comes from Battelle Memorial Institute where he has helped their Environmental Informatics practice since the 1980s. Tom shares Cognizant Program Officer duties with Sharon Geva on the Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem of Services & Support (https://ACCESS-CI.org) and multiple investments in cyberinfrastructure workforce development, such as the SCIPE program. His approach to democratizing cyberinfrastructure systems and workforce development projects relies on learning users' functional requirements and aligning organizations’ value propositions.
