Biography
Adrian Jackson is a Research Architect at EPCC, where he has worked with a wide range of academic and industry partners to provide HPC expertise and development. He has also developed and teaches a number of courses on EPCC’s Masters programme and for external organisations and academics. Currently he manages a team of researchers that work closely with scientists to provide HPC knowledge and support, including in the past the IPCC collaboration with Intel. He is heavily involved with the ARCHER HPC service, working with user support and computational science and engineering teams to help users port and optimise codes on ARCHER, and the provision of training for the ARCHER user community. Adrian has worked in outreach for many years, managing EPCC's booth at SuperComputing for the last 13 conferences. He is also heavily involved in Women in HPC (WHPC), and has helped organise a number of workshops and BoFs with WHPC.
