Biography
Lena Oden is a professor for Computer Engineering at the FernUniversität in Hagen. Her research focuses on programming models and runtime systems for heterogeneous systems. At her university, she teaches computer architecture, virtualization, parallel programming models and GPU computing. In 2019 she won a fellowship for improving the teaching of parallel programming with Jupyter notebooks. Before her professorship, she worked as a postdoc at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre and Argonne National labs. She wrote her PhD about inter-GPU communication models and published several papers in this area.
