Di Zhang is currently in his final year of Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He obtained bachelor's degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He has experiences in many research topics, such as Reinforcement Learning, Anomaly Detection, and HPC Scheduler. As the first author and main contributor, he published papers in top-tier conferences, journals and workshops, including SC20, HotStorage'21, TOS'22, HPDC'22 and so on. Apart from the research experience, he also has a lot of experience in Machine Learning. As a Machine Learning Engineer, he helped improve the political ads model of Meta by 41% higher performance worldwide in his recent internship at Meta.
