Philip Carns is a principal software development specialist in
the Mathematics and Computer Science Division of Argonne National
Laboratory. He is also an adjunct associate professor of electrical
and computer engineering at Clemson University and a fellow of the
Northwestern-Argonne Institute for Science and Engineering. His research
interests include characterization, modeling, and development of storage
systems for data-intensive scientific computing.
