Nicolas is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. In 2015, he completed his Bachelors's degree in Electrical Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil). His primary research interests include computer architecture, high-performance computing, and compilers targeting the automatic generation of custom accelerators.
