Dr. Piyush Sao is a staff scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he conducts research in the intersection of HPC and machine learning. Dr. Piyush Sao obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018 and B. Tech. in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2011.
