Biography
Devesh is the Director of the Goodwill Computing Lab at Northeastern University (Boston, USA), where his group focuses on improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of high performance computing and storage systems, more recently of quantum computing systems. He is an Associate Editor for Transactions of Storage (ToS) and Journal of Parallel & Distributed Computing (JPDC). He served as the program co-chair / track co-chair for IISWC, IPDPS, and ICCD, and has been on the program committees of DSN, HPDC, HPCA, FAST, and IPDPS.

Before joining Northeastern faculty, Devesh was a staff scientist at the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Devesh earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in India.
