Prof. Guangwen Yang received the PhD degree in computer science from the Harbin Institute of Technology. He is currently a professor with the Department of Computer Science and Technology and Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, China. He is also the director of National Supercomputing Center, Wuxi, China. His research interests include parallel algorithms, cloud computing, machine learning, and the earth system model. He was the recipient of ACM Gordon Bell Prize in 2016 and 2017.
