Kurt Lender is an IO Strategist in the IO Technology Solution Team within the Intel Data Center Group. Kurt works within Intel and with the industry on the successful development / deployment of PCIe based products and recently the development of the CXL ecosystem. He is co-chair of the CXL Marketing Work Group and recently has helped in the formation of the Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express (UCIe) Consortium. Kurt led the publishing of the technology brief "Fostering a Chiplet Ecosystem for the Future of Moore's Law".

Kurt joined Intel in 1999 and has worked entirely in developing Data Center & Communications board and system solutions, especially around open Industry Specifications. Before joining Intel, Kurt held various Engineering and Marketing positions at Sequent Computer Systems and RadiSys Corporation.

Kurt holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two daughters.
