Perry Schmidt is an IBM Software Development Manager of several products in the IBM HPC Software Stack. These projects include MPI, JSM (Job Step Manager), PPT (Parallel Performance Toolkit), xCat (eXtreme Cloud Administration Toolkit) and CSM (Cluster System Management). Perry managed the Spectrum MPI and JSM software teams during CORAL development, delivering many new technologies offered by Power and NVIDIA to the CORAL systems. Before IBM, Perry worked for Platform Computing and Hewlett Packard on both MPI and compiler optimization teams.
