Biography
Tamara Dahlgren is currently a member of the Spack and RADIUSS projects at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She has worked in the field of computer science for more than 25 years in a variety of areas, including build systems, uncertainty quantification/scientific workflows, space situational awareness, foreign animal disease modeling, scientific component technologies (i.e., Babel), laser control systems (i.e., National Ignition Facility), hierarchical storage systems (e.g., High Performance Storage System [HPSS]), environmental databases, conflict simulation, business, and education.

Tamara’s Ph.D. and Master’s degrees are in computer science. Her undergraduate degree is in computer science and mathematics. Tamara is a co-recipient of three R&D 100 awards: Spack (2019), Babel (2006), and HPSS (1997).
