Dr. Yusong Wang has been working in the high performance computing (HPC) industry for over 17 years. As a computer scientist, he designed and implemented the parallel version of accelerator simulation software (Pelegant) when he was in Argonne National Laboratory. The software is actively used world-wide by different research laboratories and companies. He was a principal system analyst at the National Weather Service center where he helped in maintaining the supercomputer system and provided guidance to about 1000 scientists and developers. He led a team to migrate a large-scale mission-critical simulation system from on-prem to AWS to manage trillions of financial assets. He currently works as a Sr. HPC Specialist Solution Architect at AWS to provide solution architecture across different industries.
