Dana Robinson
Biography
Dana Robinson is the Director of Engineering at The HDF Group, where he leads the development of the HDF5 library and related products. With his broad background in the sciences, he also works with customers to map their complex scientific data to HDF5’s data model and improve their performance. He helped design the data storage system used at ITER, has worked with Fermilab to help migrate neutrino detector data from Root to HDF5, and currently participates in the Mochi and ExaIO projects. His research interests include scalable I/O, scientific data management, and bioinformatics.
