Max Xiaohang Zhao is a resident clinical geneticist and MD/PhD student at Charite Universitätsmedizin Berlin. His current research focus includes the usage of novel hardware architectures for the acceleration of genome processing and the development of novel approaches for the interpretation of whole genome data. His previous work has included applying machine learning to medical diagnostic classification tasks in rare genetic disorders and hematology.
