Dr. Kathleen Hamilton is a Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research has focused on designing algorithms and applications for many next-generation computing platforms, including quantum annealers, gate-based quantum computers, and neuromorphic processors. Her research interests include quantum machine learning, graph algorithms, network dynamics and nonlinear dynamics. She is a member of the American Physical Society, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
