David H. Bailey is recently retired from the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and he is also affiliated with the University of California, Davis. He has published over 300 research articles in the fields of high-performance computing, computational mathematics and mathematical finance. He received the 1993 Sydney Fernbach Award from the IEEE Computer Society, the 2008 Gordon Bell Prize from the Association for Computing Machinery, the 2015 Test of Time Award from the SC Conference, and the 2017 Levi Conant Prize from the American Mathematical Society.
