Biography
Dr. C. Bernard Shung, President and Founder, Wolley Inc.
Dr. Shung is the Founder and President of Wolley Inc., that pioneers in controller architecture for highspeed computation and Storage Class Memory (SCM). He was GM of Business Development at Mediatek responsible product and technology development in the enterprise segment. He was SVP Engineering at Link-A-Media (acquired by SK Hynix) leading the development of solid state storage solutions for enterprise to consumer markets. Dr. Shung was a co-founder and VP of Engineering at SiBEAM (acquired by Silicon Image) building an engineering team and developed wireless baseband products in the 60G Hz band. He was Director of Engineering at Broadcom in charge of Ethernet switch product development. Dr. Shung worked at IBM Research in technology development for Storage Area Networks, and storage PRML read channels.
Dr. Shung received BSEE from National Taiwan University, MS and Ph.D. in EECS from UC Berkeley.
